Established in 1974 by Cavalier Enrico Bergadano, our winery is the fruit of the passion and commitment of a family deeply committed to the land. Like many others in the Langhe, the winery was originally dedicated to the cultivation of fruit trees and the sale of grapes; later, thanks to the acquisition of vineyards in some of the most desirable crus, production was concentrated exclusively on wines made from native grape varieties.
In the mid-1990s, management of the winery passed to Enrico’s son, Piercarlo, with his wife Silvana Molino, who also comes from a family of winegrowers. Today the winery is in the hands of the third generation, with the entry of Francesca, Enrica and Michele.
Family management is a core value for our winery. The close bond between the members of the family and the land is reflected in the quality of the wines produced.
Our production philosophy is based on deep respect for nature and local winemaking traditions. We are committed to enhancing the distinctiveness of each vintage and each vineyard, working painstakingly and in harmony with the pace of nature.

Processing in the cellar is manual and fermentation is induced using indigenous yeasts. Ageing in wood, mainly in large oak barrels, allows the harmonious evolution of the wines and enhances the unique characteristics of the terroir.

We cultivate our vineyards according to the principles of sustainable agriculture, to minimise environmental impact and preserve biodiversity.

Here we cultivate about 0.5 hectares of vineyard with south-south westerly exposure. The soil composition is predominantly calcareous- clay with a high percentage of stone, which contributes to the vines’ sensitivity to climatic fluctuations, stimulating optimal ripening of the grapes.

A plot of about one hectare situated at the foot of the MGA, on the border between the municipalities of Castiglione and Monforte.
The soils in this southerly-exposed vineyard consist of Sant’Agata marl with a predominance of clay, and the average age of the vines planted here is 20-25.

A young vineyard in the municipality of La Morra, covering an area of three hectares facing east.
The plot is characterised by compact soils with a predominance of clay.
