An “important” Barbera, with good structure and complexity, in which scents of black fruit and brushwood are balanced and rounded by the passage in wood.

Exposure: easterly

Altitude: 210 m a.s.l.

Surface area: 0.40 Ha

Vinification notes: Traditional fermentation, with maceration of the marc, takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 27 – 28° C and lasts about ten days with frequent pumping over of the must (2 or 3 times a day). After malolactic fermentation, the wine is racked into 500-litre French oak tonneaux. Ageing in wood lasts about 12 months, after which the Barbera spends a further three months in steel tanks and six months in the bottle. 3600 750 ml bottles are produced every year.
